Reviewing to the history, Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
An alternative theory from Belarus states that the holiday originates from the story of Saint Valentine, who upon rejection by his mistress was so heartbroken that he took a knife to his chest and sent her his still-beating heart as a token of his undying love for her. Hence, heart-shaped cards are now sent as a tribute to his overwhelming passion and suffering. The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines." The Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since then, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards and so on as the way of showing your loves to your partner....
So guys...what are u waiting for??? Go and grab a bouquet of red roses or a box of choc... Wrap it with your LOVES and give it to the one you love.... Just to let them know that you love them and appreciate them for being in your life for the previous-previous year and so on... For those who has no special one in their life... No worries guys... Just say I LOVE YOU to the person that you really thankful for... well, he or she could be your friends, family, or maybe your neighbours...
For those celebrating a quiet Valentine's Day at home... u can have a romantic movie story with your loves one.... Different people has different way of celebrating this valentine.... Some people might prefer having a candle light dinner in a cosy restaurant or in their own house... or maybe spending time with their partners watching a movie in cinema... or maybe having a just-nice dinner and have a walk in the garden with a wonderful scenery of a full-moon... hehehe it depends... usually people will buy a red rose and a valentine's card for their lover... But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires;

so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep - Pablo Neruda, "Love Sonnet XVII"
